Did you know that not every Benchmade knife has the model number (model #) displayed on the blade?
Here's some information to help you locate the model number of your knife, even if it is not directly marked on the blade:
For the majority of our knives produced after 2000, you can find the model number on the front side of the blade, just beneath the butterfly logo and on the original packaging product label. Please note that the model number is relatively small in size. If you're having difficulty reading it, we recommend using the camera on your phone to zoom in or using a magnifying glass for better visibility.
However, if you have an out-the-front automatic model, you may not find a model number on the blade itself. Instead, these knives typically display the Benchmade logo and the type of steel used. If you no longer have the knife box that contained the information label, you can send a clear picture of your knife to info@benchmade.com. Our customer service team will be delighted to help you identify your knife based on the provided image.
Similarly, for older models produced before the 2000s, it is uncommon for these products to have the model number printed on the blade. Alternatively, our knowledgeable customer service team can assist you in identifying your knife. Please send a clear picture of the blade and a full shot of the knife to info@benchmade.com. Providing comprehensive visuals will enable us to better assist you in identifying your knife accurately.
We understand that knowing the model number can be helpful for various reasons, such as obtaining specific information or seeking support. Rest assured, our customer service team is here to provide you with the assistance you need. Simply reach out to us with the necessary images, and we'll be happy to help identify your Benchmade knife.
