To help us uphold that commitment, all customers submitting a knife for warranty or LifeSharp service must agree to our Counterfeit Goods Acknowledgement by selecting the associated checkbox on the service request form.

What You’re Agreeing To
By checking the Counterfeit Goods Acknowledgement box and sending your knife to Benchmade for repair or maintenance, you agree to the following:
- Impoundment of Suspected Counterfeits
If a knife returned for service is found to be a counterfeit or suspected counterfeit, Benchmade reserves the right to impound it for further investigation. Suspected counterfeit knives will not be returned. - Destructive Testing
Benchmade may conduct destructive testing to confirm the authenticity of a knife. If a knife is destroyed during testing and found to be counterfeit, Benchmade is not responsible for any reimbursement or replacement. - Permanent Disposal
Benchmade reserves the right to permanently destroy any knife it determines to be counterfeit. - No Compensation for Counterfeits
Benchmade is not liable to compensate you, or anyone else, for the value of counterfeit knives, even if they were unknowingly purchased. - Cooperation in Investigations
You agree to cooperate in good faith with any investigation related to the counterfeit knife. This includes providing the seller’s name, contact information, and any other identifying details. Investigations may involve third parties or government agencies as required by law.

Counterfeit knives compromise safety, performance, and trust. This policy helps protect you and others from fraudulent products and supports the continued craftsmanship and innovation of genuine Benchmade knives.
