If you're seeing a message like "Model number not found or may be discontinued" while trying to submit a warranty or LifeSharp request, don’t worry. We can still help.
What This Means
This usually happens if:
- The knife model is no longer in production
- The model number was entered incorrectly
- The model name was entered
- It’s a very old or limited-run Benchmade that’s no longer in our system
What You Can Do
Option 1: Contact Us
Reach out to our team at info@benchmade.com or call 1-833-557-2526. We’ll help confirm your knife model and let you know if replacement parts are available.
Option 2: Send It In
If you're unsure of the exact model, you will not be prevented from completing the form. Go ahead and complete the form, leaving what you originally entered or leaving it blank. Then send your knife in as usual.
We’ll inspect it when it arrives and do what we can.
Even if parts aren’t available, we can always clean, sharpen, and tune up your knife as part of our LifeSharp service. Discontinued knives that require warranty parts replacement and cannot be repaired may be eligible for a store credit equal to the original full MSRP of the discontinued knife.
