Common Indicators of a Counterfeit
- Too good to be true pricing
Heavily discounted knives, especially from online marketplaces or unauthorized resellers, can often be counterfeit. - Poor construction
Look out for:- Loose or rattling hardware
- Misaligned or sloppy blade grinds
- Inconsistent finishes or incorrect logos
- Suspicious packaging
All genuine Benchmade knives come in a branded box with a microfiber bag and product literature. Packaging that feels off or missing key components may indicate a fake.
Important Counterfeit Policy Notes
- We do not return counterfeit knives.
Pursuant to our counterfeit goods agreement, if your knife is found to be counterfeit after inspection, it will not be returned. - We cannot verify authenticity from photos or reseller listings.
For a definitive determination, your knife must be physically inspected at our facility.
